So, I figure I'll make it official, I'm done with this site. Its shitty, and I have no need to put my work up here. The gallery that I have does not reflect the photography that I do now. It was good while it lasted, and I think it probably really did help me advance. I just looked through my old stuff on here from 07-08 and damn, what I'm doing now really has improved. Another reason that I'm not posting on here anymore is because I work with film about 99% of the time and scanning gets expensive when you have no means of doing it yourself. I may move to Flickr, probably not since the main thing is, I can't find a point as to why to put my stuff up. Its stuff that I just have at the moment and use in my portfolio. I realize this sounds very cynical, and possibly arrogant, but I'm not sure exactly the cause for this journal. I need to go back and remember how I was last year though, and I need to thank (most of) the deviantart community. Back when photography was nothing more than a side hobby, I think it was the posting here that drove me to shooting. Whether thats good or bad, its what it was. Now I have a different drive, simply self motivation for improvement. But, without this site and the support I recieved back when i was starting, who knows if I would still be doing this. But alas, it is time to move on. I won't be deleting this, cause I enjoy looking at photos I took over 2 years ago, and comparing them to modern work. And hell, maybe on day, I will post on here again. Anyway, its time to go. You've been great. Its been a fun ride. Thank you.
